This started as an idea for an anniversary gift. Brendan and I love to cook together, so I thought up a cook book. An illustrated cook book.

First we had to figure out what we made in our first year together.

Then came the process of layout.

I laid out the table of contents and section pages.

But then I had a stroke. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

But I got back into it. Slowly but surely.

I would complete a couple illustrations a day in between radiation treatments. I slowly built up a library of food illustrations.
