Modern Master Studies

I started this project late in March of 2020 during quarantine for covid-19. I had started off trying to come up with witty, uplifting, and poignant drawings about the current state of the world. But then things got kind of depressing and I didn’t want the pressure of having to come up with something to say in order to create something.

I went back to the basics and looked to the masters for inspiration. I compiled a list of famous paintings throughout time. I then sorted the list so that I could roll the dice and randomize the process.
