Digital Paintings

Reminiscent of an older more polished style, when I want to get into the weeds I’ll sit down and do these. In an attempt to try to achieve realism I’ll sit for hours and just noodle. It’s a little bit of meditation. Plus I get to listen to lots of podcasts/tv.

It’s in the details

I love sitting and zoning out and just adding in the little details. It really makes these paintings shine.

Here are some more.

These paintings were done in Adobe Fresco—I don’t have a long history with oil paints but it’s been said that it’s the closest digital rendition of color mixing and paint replication. It was a fun exercise I guess.

Enjoy some timelapses.

Here are some short clips of the painting process for these paintings as well as some figure drawing pieces.
