The new cartoons

I have been continuing to document my life and weird thoughts through my fave cartoony style. I recently figured out how to draw cute cats. Which is a bonus because now I can document Louise with her schemes and antics.

aaaaaaand… animals

I got a haircut.

A chronicle of getting a hair cut. This was my first hair cut in about two years.

I hate being sick.

I moved!

We played a spy game at work

Our book club book was 1984 so our minds were thinking about the dystopian future of Oceania. One of my coworkers put together a great game filled with propaganda, secrecy, and deceit. The feuding Department of Fun and Fun in Freedom rebels were trying to figure out who was a spy for which team. The propaganda masters lead the teams

through a week of spying and lies. We got really into it and had a great time. The Department of Fun (featuring yours truly) won this round! These drawings depict the week and the spies!

Covid-19 quarantine quandaries

With the onset of a global pandemic, I gathered and recorded some of my initial thoughts. It was a weird time, grappling with the fact the the whole world was turned upside down. To be honest, my life wasn’t changed all that much. I was lucky enough to be able to work from home, but other than that, I have always been a bit of a homebody. Never have I had an urge to go to all the stores and get a haircut as when you literally cannot.

After about the first week, I gave up on recording what I was thinking. thinking too much about the state of things didn’t seem to help. To see what else I did while cooped up go and check out the Historical Painting Replications that I did!

Some misc ideas.
